We collect only the minimum amount of personal information necessary to deliver, secure, and improve the Service. The categories of information we may collect are:
Account & Purchase Information: Your name, email address, and license activation details. Payment information (card details, billing address) is collected and processed directly by our payment processor Whop — we never see or store your card details on our servers.
Communications: When you email our support team or message us on Telegram, we retain the content of those communications and your contact details solely for the purpose of providing support and maintaining a service record.
Technical & Usage Data: When you visit copypipspro.com, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs standard technical information including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. This is used for security, abuse prevention, and basic analytics.
License Activation Data: When you activate your license, we record your license key, activation timestamp, and a hardware identifier so we can enforce the activation limits of your plan and assist with reinstallation requests.
CopyPips is designed with privacy by default. We explicitly do NOT collect, access, transmit, or store any of the following:
• Your MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) account login credentials • Your broker username, password, or trading account number • The balance, equity, or positions of your trading account • Your individual trade history, signals received, or trading performance • Your Telegram account password or session keys • Any content from your Telegram messages outside of the specific signal channels you have manually configured
The CopyPips Expert Advisor (EA) and desktop application operate entirely on your local machine. The flow of trading signals, broker communication, and account data happens between your local Telegram client, the CopyPips desktop app, and your local MetaTrader terminal — never via our servers.
We use the limited information we collect strictly for the following purposes:
• To deliver, maintain, and improve the Service • To process your purchase and deliver your license key • To verify license activations and prevent unauthorised use • To respond to your support requests and customer enquiries • To send essential service-related communications (e.g. license expiry reminders, security alerts, important product updates) • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues • To comply with legal obligations where required
We do not use your personal information for behavioural advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the operation of the Service.
We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
These measures include: HTTPS encryption across our website and customer portal, secure storage of license data in Firebase with access controls, processing all payments through Whop's PCI-compliant infrastructure, and limiting internal access to personal data to those who require it to perform their duties.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Specifically: your account and license data are retained for as long as your license is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping; payment records are retained as required by applicable tax and accounting laws; support communications are retained for up to two years from your last interaction.
